Although ornaments are seasonal products and you’ll make sales only for a quarter of the year, you can still earn a good profit selling them. People are always willing to spend more for the holiday seasons if it means making their loved ones happy.

11 Best Print On Demand Ornaments Companies
1. Printify
When deciding on which ornament to sell online, you can choose between two strategies to start with. You can either go for a shape that’s always in demand e.g. round ones, or go for unique-shaped ornaments.
Choosing the latter will make your store stand out compared to others but it can be harder to make sales in the beginning. I would definitely try out unique designs on the usual shaped ornaments before progressing to other shapes.
Types of ornaments you can design:
- Ceramic ornaments
- Metal ornaments
- Pewter snowflake ornaments
- Wooden ornaments
- Acrylic ornaments with ribbons
- Christmas ball ornaments
2. Printful
However, there are other things you should evaluate other than just prices. This includes product/printing quality, average shipping times and delivery cost to your destination area.
- Bell ornaments
- Heart ornaments
- Oval ornaments
- Star ornaments
- Stocking ornaments
- Tree ornaments
3. Inkthreadable
If you’re looking for a print on demand UK-based company for ornaments, you should check out Inkthreadable. It’s best to use the site if you’re planning to sell ornaments alongside apparel items as Inkthreadable is more well-known for their POD clothing line.
With that said, there is only a single type of ceramic ornament you can design on the site – and it’s a round one. Although it’s not seen in the picture below, the ornament comes with a gold string for hanging. Prices are in GBP but you can switch to seven other currencies.
Here’s a rough mockup of how it would look like with a typography design – I used one from Creative Fabrica!

4. Gooten
Similar to Printful, there are a few ornament shapes you can design on Gooten – but they’re made of ceramic (porcelain). All shapes are in a standard size of three inches (diameter) and regardless which you’re planning to get, it comes with a ready-to-hang metallic gold loop string.
Types of ornaments you can design:
- Ceramic snowflake ornaments
- Ceramic star ornaments
- Ceramic round ornaments
- Ceramic heart ornaments
- Ceramic round ornaments with gold back
5. Prodigi
Another print on demand ornament UK company you can check out is Prodigi. There aren’t a lot of home decor products on the site so don’t be surprised that there’s only one type of ornament you can design with them.
Just like Inkthreadable, Prodigi’s round ornament is made of white ceramic and comes with an adjustable gold string. I would usually go for darker colored designs for printing on ceramic as lighter colors may appear a little faded when printed.
Types of ornaments you can design:
6. Contrado
You can choose between four ornament shapes (listed down below) and get them in either ceramic or clay material. Designs can be printed on both sides and finished with a gloss/satin coat.
Types of ornaments you can design:
- Ceramic ornaments (heart, star, oval, and round)
- White clay ornaments (heart, star, oval, and round)
7. CustomCat
CustomCat is similar to Inkthreadable as they’re also better known for their collection of print on demand apparels – I shared more on their awesome features here. There aren’t many choices for home decor but there are at least four types of ornaments you can design with them.
It’s nothing out of the ordinary but their ornaments are eco-friendly and could last a lifetime as they’re made of durable MDF with a high-gloss plastic finish. Just like others, the gold cords are sold together for easy hanging.
CustomCat is quite easy to navigate as a beginner seller, thanks to their comprehensive blog section, packed with FAQs, tutorials and selling guidelines for artists.

8. Merchize
Looking for ornaments that are much cheaper than anything I’ve shared above? You can check out Merchize, a print on demand company based in Vietnam.
The great thing about exploring Merchize’s catalog is that some prices listed includes free shipping to the USA. But even if it’s not, you can still save a lot by getting ornaments with them – everything is still under $10 (with shipping!).

9. Zazzle
Not planning to sell on Etsy or Shopify? You can sell your designs on ornaments via print on demand marketplaces like Zazzle. Zazzle is a favorite of mine as there is an extensive range of products you can design and personalize – unlike other marketplaces.
Even for ornaments, there’s a few materials and shapes you can sell or purchase for yourself – full list down below. They also have a similar pewter snowflake ornament like the one I designed above on Printify.
Prices seen on Zazzle is the standard selling price paid by customers so as an artist, your commission will be a percentage of it (varies with each product).
Here’s a sample of a Zazzle ornament I personalized to include my blog’s name and logo. There are 13 styles to choose from for the same design and there are options to add a velvet gift pouch.

10. Printed Mint
If you’ve gone through Printify’s range of ornaments, you’d probably spot Printed Mint as one of their suppliers. While you can source Printed Mint’s products on Printify, not all of their products are displayed on the site.
This is also true for ornaments as there are five choices on Printed Mint’s website compared to only two on Printify. Aside from the usual ceramic, there are acrylic and clear glass ornaments as well. However, most can only be printed on one side.
Sourcing directly from Printed Mint may be cheaper (instead of using Printify) but you’ll have limited options for integrations and range of products you can sell.

- Acrylic round ornaments
- Benelux ornaments
- Ceramic round ornaments
- Clear glass round ornaments
- Aluminum round ornaments

11. Yoycol
If Merchize’s prices didn’t meet your budget, you should check out Yoycol. As they’re based in China and orders are shipped from the country, prices are much lower and you’ll be able to save a lot for large purchases.
Their product range is not as unique as Merchize’s but there are discounts to enjoy if you’re buying anything more than 10 units (5% off) or 50 units (10% off). Plus, Yoycol’s ornaments can be printed on both sides at no extra cost.
Just like others in this list, Yoycol’s products are printed on demand and there’s no minimum ordering quantity to fulfill. Shipping would take longer (up to 20 days) if you’re buying to the USA or Europe so that’s something to bear in mind!
