1. Printify

If you’re a newbie to print on demand and want to explore dropshipping for business cards, I recommend trying out with Printify. They’re one of the easiest platforms to use and there are a ton of products you can sell in your store at any one time.

You can even integrate multiple ecommerce stores to a single Printify account!

There are two suppliers for business cards on Printify. The one printed by Taylor is much more unique as there are four different types of paper material to choose from (list below) and it comes in two sizes. You can also purchase a minimum quantity of 10 pieces instead of buying a bulk of 100 pieces.

Here’s a sample of a Printify business card I created using a design from Creative Fabrica. The design was sold as an editable Canva template but for sample purposes, I didn’t make any changes and just used the original.

The fonts, icons, layout and colors are fully customizable!

2. Gelato

Another white label print on demand fulfillment you can use for business cards is Gelato. They work similar to Printify but there are less product choices and prices can be a little expensive for some products.

For business cards however, there are three options you can go for – premium silk, premium glossy or uncoated. There are two listings for each as they have a specific listing catered for orders to US and Canada only. So if you’re not shipping to those countries, go for the one that’s “fulfilled in 30 countries”.

Even if you’re in parts of Asia or Europe, you will get your purchase in just a few days! Prices listed are meant for pack of 10.

This is a sample for Gelato’s print on demand business card (vertical) I created using another design from Creative Fabrica. Most downloads for business card templates come in formats meant for Canva, Illustrator and Photoshop. As a beginner, Canva is the best time-efficient tool for you.

3. Cloudprinter

Cloudprinter’s business cards may be a lot cheaper than what you saw on Gelato. For just under €2, you’ll get a pack of 50 printed!

Similar to Printify and Gelato, Cloudprinter works with multiple printing facilities all over the world to ensure fast shipping times. Usually, orders are fulfilled by a facility that is closest to the order’s destination address.

There are fewer integration options but they still work with popular platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix and eBay. You can choose between two sizes and have the cards finished with either matte or gloss lamination.

4. Contrado

Speaking about cost, you may be on the opposite end of the spectrum and looking for a printing fulfillment for luxury business cards. On Contrado, custom business cards come with a luxury satin finish and sold in a pack of 20.

This is the perfect alternative for brand designers and even corporates that wants a luxurious look to everyday accessories or stationeries. Contrado’s price is definitely on the higher side even after a discount!

The business cards are attached to a booklet card case with magnet fastening for a cooler introduction. Just like sites I’ve listed above, there are no minimum quantity imposed when buying on Contrado – you can also save further by buying in bulk.

If you’re looking for a print on demand UK company for luxurious business cards, Bags Of Love should be your go-to. They’re another brand under the Contrado Group that looks to serve the UK audience.

You can even get your business cards printed on the same day for next day delivery (in the UK!).

BOL’s business cards are similar to the ones on Contrado – the same tear out business card booklet. It uses 300gsm art paper that’s heavyweight for durability, with full-color print on both sides.

The major difference is, you can purchase a leather business card wallet separately on BOL that’s not available on Contrado. Both sites offer business card tins with customizable covers.

6. VistaPrint

There are three major options for custom printed business cards on VistaPrint (list down below). You can also design them in three different corner shapes – standard rectangular, rounded corners and standard square.

If you’re looking for something like Contrado’s but on the cheaper side, go for VistaPrint’s premium business cards that are made of thicker textured paper. There’s 12 premium papers to choose from, including pearl, linen, bamboo and foil.

You can choose a ready design template from VistaPrint’s library and edit it to match your brand preferences. There is a minimum ordering quantity (MOQ) of 100 pieces and you’ll need to pay extra for printing on both sides.

There is a much higher MOQ for some business cards on HelloPrint compared to other sites on this list. However, I believe they’re still worth mentioning as there are a ton other promotional products you can design with them – and a lot of features to explore.

Their PVC cards are the most expensive as they’re made of water-resistant plastic and perfect for long use. People who keep your cards will still have them intact even after 20 years!

You can enjoy bulk discounts (up to 60%) by ordering in large quantities and use Canva to design directly on HelloPrint.

8. Solopress

Another UK-based printing company you can explore for custom business cards and marketing materials is Solopress.

As a rule of thumb, thicker ones are much more durable but comes at a higher cost. You can also decide based on sustainability concerns, color tones and coating finishes. Weigh out your options!

Compared to some sites above, there are no extra cost involved with double-sided printing for business cards on Zazzle.

Need a business card that’s writable? You can go for Peecho’s uncoated writable cards that can be written on without potential smudges. They are offered in two weights – 300gm and 350gm.

Peecho ships globally and delivery can take anywhere between 2-10 days depending on destination country. You can also customize folded business cards on their site if you need more space to fit in your company’s information.

Some sites offer a similar service that’s manually done by their internal teams but you’ll need to wait a few hours or a day for confirmation.

   • You’ll have to create an account with one of the sites I’ve mentioned above to start selling
   • Choose one supplier that resonates to you the most with the right products you’ve envisioned for your business
4. Upload images to products
   • You can make your own designs using Kittl or Canva
   • If you want to buy designs, get them on Creative Fabrica or Envato Elements
   • Position the design correctly when uploading as the actual product will look the same as what you see online
   • Some important things to know are design file sizes and printing layout (if any)
5. Set a suitable profit margin for each product
   • On most sites, you should be able to set a selling price once you’ve done uploading the design
   • A suitable margin should be 40%-50% depending on the platform you’re selling on and any fees you’ll incur on each sale
   • This excludes shipping charges to customers!

6. Sync them to your ecommerce store
   • You would need to integrate your ecommerce store e.g. Etsy or Shopify or via API before you’re able to sell so do that first
