9 Best Print On Demand Metal Signs Companies
1. Printify
Generally, there aren’t a lot options for metal signs. Most are made of aluminum and comes in a single rectangle shape. Though this is the case for Printify, there are 11 sizes you can design!
Whether you’re planning to design rectangle or square, you can be sure to find a few sizing options on Printify. You can also choose between a horizontal or vertical orientation for your rectangle metal signs.
You can add your own text using Printify and choose a nice font style to match the Parisian vibes.

2. Printful
Just like Printify, there’s only one type of metal print you can design on Printful. Printful’s metal prints are glossy compared to Printify’s matte metal signs.
There are fewer sizing options and prices are definitely on the higher side. Printify’s 8″x10″ sign is only priced at $15.79 while Printful price theirs at $37.95 – before subscription/membership savings.
Although both are made of aluminum, Printful assures that their metal prints are scratch and fade resistant. It also comes with a MDF wood frame, while Printify’s metal signs include extra accessories for hanging.
There are definitely other factors to consider other than prices. This includes product/printing quality, shipping times and delivery cost to your destination area. It’s important to note that Printful’s metal signs are only available in the US, so if you’re not in the country, you won’t be able to order it.

3. Gelato
Not based in the US and not ordering to the US? You can check out Gelato for metal photo prints. They’re also well known for printing posters and marketing materials like business cards or banners.
Gelato offers two kinds of metal prints that are made of aluminum – brush and not brushed. Both can be fulfilled in 10 countries across the globe, including NZ, Australia and Canada – so chances are, your country is covered.
Shipping can still be a little pricey especially for larger metal prints – it can go up to $60 for the first product for a large 28×40″. To save on shipping charges (about 50%), it’s wise to subscribe to their Gelato+ Gold membership – but read the details first as the discount only applies to some countries.
Here’s a sample of Gelato’s POD metal print I created using one of their ready graphics. I only scaled the design to fit the product nicely and chose a background color to match.

4. Gooten
Similar to Gelato, Gooten offers two finishing types for their print on demand metal prints. You can choose between a matte or glossy finishing – so no need to decide between Printify or Printful.
The only downside is, Gooten looks to accept experienced print on demand sellers so if you’re a complete beginner, it’s tough to create an account on their site. An approval is required!
Gooten’s metal prints come with ready accessories for hanging on walls. They’re also waterproof, weatherproof and scratch-resistant like Printful’s. There’s more sizing options compared to three of the sites above.

5. Prodigi
The aluminum prints on Prodigi looks just like the ones you see on Gooten. They’re a print on demand UK company that sells mostly apparels and paper products – with some home items.
There are limited sizing options for their metal prints so there’s nothing superb about it but you’ll probably love the unique metal substrate used. I love that Prodigi makes it known that their metal prints are recyclable and will be shipped in eco-friendly corrugated cardboard boxes, so no plastics!
If you want to test Prodigi’s best-selling products, you can get their sample pack (mostly paper products) delivered to your doorstep. Of course, you won’t be getting free metal prints with it, but you’ll get a feel of their overall printing quality before deciding on your purchase.

6. Contrado
They’re made with satin finishing and you have a choice of mounting it to a wall or placing on a desk. At a thickness of 0.08″, Contrado’s metal prints are much thinner than Printify’s 0.12″. A thinner metal poster may be more likely to bend or get damaged but is lighter for easy wall hanging.
There’s a 4-year guarantee for printing so you can be sure you’re getting the best quality!

7. Merchize
Searching for metal signs that are much cheaper than the sites I’ve shared above? You can explore Merchize, a print on demand fulfillment that ships worldwide from Vietnam.
Prices for Merchize’s decorative metal signs include standard shipping to the US so you’ll need to pay extra for deliveries to other countries. You can also save further by going for their metal sign that’s printed in China but that can only be shipped to the US.
The metal sign does not include any accessory for wall hanging but comes with four punctured holes at all corners for nails.

9. Teelaunch
I’ve previously received feedback from a reader that’s looking to design die-cut metal signs. They were asking if there are any other sites that sells them other than Teelaunch, but unfortunately Teelaunch is the only one I know that’s selling.
Unlike the metal signs or posters I’ve shared above, die-cut metal signs follow the shape of your design. Areas can be customized to be cut out or to be in full color. Teelaunch offers the steel product in five colors – black, red, white, brown and silver.
Best that you see the sample images on Teelaunch to understand better how your design might suit! The product makes a nice industrial decoration for any home, office or study area.
